The 51305072-300 paddle board is a critical component in a dual-node chassis, enabling seamless LCN (Local Control Network) communication. It connects to the LCN 'B' cable, while the 'A' cable is attached to the CLCN-A paddle board in the same chassis.

TPN modules communicate via coaxial and fiber optic cables, with dual LCN cables (A & B) providing backup connectivity. Each cable is clearly identified—Cable A with yellow shrink-fit bands and Cable B with green bands—to prevent misconnections.

An LCN supports up to seven coaxial segments, including a central segment and six remote nodes. LCN Extenders (LCNE2s/XLCNE2s) link these segments using fiber optic cables, providing ground isolation and safe routing through hazardous areas. This ensures robust, long-distance communication across the network.
