Bently Nevada 3500/15 106M1081-01 Universal AC Power Input Module

The Bently Nevada 3500/15 is a power supply module designed for the 3500 rack system. This half-height module must be installed in the designated slots on the left side of the rack. A single rack can accommodate one or two power supplies, which can be AC or DC types in any combination. Each power supply is capable of powering an entire fully loaded rack independently.

The 3500/15 modules work in tandem to ensure reliable power delivery. When two power supplies are installed, the unit in the lower slot serves as the primary power source, while the upper slot contains the backup unit. The backup supply automatically assumes control if the main unit fails. Hot-swapping capability allows for removal or insertion of one power supply module without system interruption, provided the other power supply remains operational.

The 3500/15 is available in multiple configurations including Universal AC Power Supply, High Voltage DC Power Supply, and Low Voltage DC Power Supply. It is important to note that these newer power supplies and their associated Power Input Modules (PIMs) are not compatible with older Legacy 3500 power supply models.
