Product Description

The IEMMU01 is a module mounting unit designed for housing Harmony rack modules within cabinets of the Symphony Enterprise Management and Control System. It supports up to 12 rack modules, providing electrical distribution and physical mounting. The unit enables easy installation and removal of modules through card guides and front-panel latches.

The IEMMU01 includes a multilayer printed circuit board backplane with connectors, jumpers, and dipshunts for I/O expander bus and Controlway signal distribution. The unit ensures proper airflow with an open structure and uses blank faceplates in empty slots for cooling. It is compatible with standard 19-inch cabinets and supports regulated power supply voltages (+5VDC, ±15VDC, +24VDC).

The IEMMU01 can be replaced by newer models like IEMMU11, IEMMU12, IEMMU21, and IEMMU22. When connecting with these newer units, a transition board is required for I/O expander bus interconnection. It is intended for use by qualified technicians familiar with electronic systems and process control environments.
