When physical space is limited, the 3300-series 5mm probe delivers the same side clearance as 8mm probes in a smaller footprint. For even tighter spaces, the 3300 NSv Proximity Transducer System offers specialized narrow-profile performance. These compact options ensure flexibility without compromising functionality, ideal for confined or complex machinery layouts.
The 3300-series 8mm probes are engineered for harsh conditions, featuring thick PPS plastic encapsulation around the coil for superior durability. Their larger diameter provides a rugged casing, making them the top choice when physical resilience is critical. We highly recommend 8mm probes wherever installation space allows, ensuring long-term reliability in challenging industrial applications.
For extreme temperatures, the ETR probe (218°C/425°F) and ETR extension cable (260°C/500°F) maintain reliable operation while staying compatible with standard 3300 XL systems. Mixing components—like an ETR probe with a standard cable—is possible, but system accuracy will follow ETR specifications. This flexibility allows tailored configurations for demanding thermal conditions.
