Description:

The GUS/Experion LCN interface is established via a Local Control Network Processor 51405098-100 (LCNP4E) card, a Honeywell product. This card enables the TPS Operator Station or GUS to mimic a Universal Station and serves as the communication route for the server (DellT5500) to interact with other LCN modules.

The LCNP4E configuration includes an LCNP4E card, a MAU cable, and the LCN MAU (Media Access Unit). The 51405098-100 (LCNP4E) card is a half-length PCIE card that occupies the PCIE-X 4 slot 5. To connect to the LCN Network, the LCNP4E, MAU, and MAU Cable are essential components.

Regarding the LCN node address, it must comply with the customer's specific requirements. In case the LCN address is unknown, it is necessary to set the node address to zero. By setting the address to zero, the node can connect to the LCN without the potential risk of an address conflict with other nodes. This approach aligns with the current standard procedure of the LCN.

The server platform is equipped with a digital system clock. When incorporating the server platform into an existing system that has nodes operating on analog clocks, the system should have at least two KxLCN boards for the purpose of analog/digital conversion.
