Description:

To ensure CE Compliance, the following components must be used and properly identified by their model or assembly part numbers: Card files (including High-Performance ProcessManager Module (HPMM) cards). Field Termination Assemblies (FTAs). Power Systems. Cables (IOP-to-FTA cables, power cables, and I/O Link Interface cables).

Only CE-compliant hardware, cabling, and approved practices should be used. A single grounding system must be installed—multiple grounds are not permitted.

All three card file types support CE compliance and include these distinct features: Filtered backpanel IOP connectors, Ground panels for IOP connectors, Rear backpanel shielding.

Unlike non-CE-compliant 7-Slot and 15-Slot card files (which support both HPMM and IOP cards interchangeably), CE-compliant versions are dedicated to either HPMM or IOP use. Specifically: A 7-Slot or 15-Slot IOP card file cannot accommodate an HPMM card set.
