The DS200CPCAG1A is a Contactor Pilot Board manufactured and designed by General Electric as part of the EX2000 Series used in the GE Excitation Control System. To control the opening and shutting of a contactor, the CDBA board supplies the electricity. 115 v is the coil voltage for the contactors used with the CPCA.

The CPCA transforms incoming 115 V ac into 105 V dc to drive the contactor coil. When a contractor needs to be closed and kept closed, the CPCA card, as opposed to the CDBA board, provides the entire voltage.

The DS200CPCAG1A has one 12-pin connector and two 2-pin connectors. It also has four wiring terminals to connect up to 12 signal wires.

The GE contactor pilot board DS200CPCAG1A also houses the 24VDC socket power relay. Because the board has wiring terminals, the servicer must remove the wires connected to them, which requires special consideration.

The wiring terminals enable the signal cables to be connected to the board for processing. Some wires transmit signals from the board. Other wires receive signals that are processed by the board.

Care must be taken when using a screwdriver not to damage other components in the drive by scrapping the component or hitting the component with the screwdriver.

Make a diagram showing where the wires are connected on the wiring terminals, each with a letter and number identifier. Use the same diagram to record where the other cables are connected.
