Description:

The IS200ECTBG1A is an exciter contact board that supports field contact outputs and inputs. This controller unit is used in redundant mode only.

The model has four Table C contact outputs controlled by EMIO, and two customer-monitored contact outputs. The input/output end board IS200ECECTBG1A is part of the ex2100 excitation controller series.

This board is the Exciter Contact Board (ECTB). The main function of this model is to support excitation contact input and output.

Two trip relays that are often utilized as customer lockout drivers are controlled by ECTBG2, which is driven by the EMIO in M1. The M1 controller supplies 24 V dc to the relay drivers. Refer to the Simplex Terminal Board, ECTBG2, in the previous illustration.

One relay is used to drive each customer lockout, and it uses two parallel normally closed contacts. The relays are marked K1M1 and K2M1 on the board. The three inputs drive three relays to regulate a 2-out-of-3 contact voting circuit for redundancy control operation with ECTBG1.
