The IS220PRTDH1B is an I/O package designed to work with terminal blocks. It is approved for use in hazardous locations when used with specific terminal blocks such as the IS200TRTDH2D, IS200SRTDH1A, or IS200SRTDH2A, the unit has its own power supply. Only electrical simple devices such as RTDs should be connected to the RTD inputs on the IS220PRTDH1A. Cables used for these connections should have the proper insulation as specified by local electrical codes.
