The IS220PRTDH1B is a GE's electrical temperature device input module. The module is part of the General Electric MarkVe Speedtronic system, one of the final Speedtronics systems available. The Speedtronic series was created by General Electric in the 1960s to manage industrial gas and steam turbines and includes popular versions such as the MarkI, MarkII, MarkIV, and MarkVl. The IS220PRTDH1B is an I/O package designed to work with terminal blocks. It is approved for use in hazardous locations when used with specific terminal blocks such as the IS200TRTDH2D, IS200SRTDH1A, or IS200SRTDH2A, the unit has its own power supply. Only electrical simple devices such as RTDs should be connected to the RTD inputs on the IS220PRTDH1A. Cables used for these connections should have the proper insulation as specified by local electrical codes.
The IS220PRTDH1B is a high-performance RTD interface board designed for use in turbine control applications. It provides a high-speed RS-485 interface to the GE Speedtronic Mark VIe turbine control system. The IS220PRTDH1B also has several features that make it ideal for turbine control applications, including support for up to 128 RTDs, a ruggedized design, and a wide operating temperature range. The front panel of the IS220PRTDH1B includes LED indicators for the two Ethernet ports of the I/O unit, as well as the Power and ATTN LED indicators. The ports are located on the side of the unit. The device has passed CE certification and UL certification.

IS220PRTDH1B is a RTD Input Pack manufactured and designed by General Electric as part of Mark VIe Series distributed control system. The Resistance Temperature Device (RTD) Input (PRTD) pack interfaces one or two I/O Ethernet networks with an RTD input terminal board. The pack includes a processor board that is shared by all Mark VIe distributed I/O packs as well as an acquisition board dedicated to the thermocouple input function.
